Language of the Heart...
Have you ever discovered a 'heart' rock in your travels? Does it conjure up memories of a broken heart, a heart full of love or is it simply a stone in the shape of a heart? What does it symbolize to you? Each 'heart rock' offers a special meaning to the one who discovers or receives it. What's your story? Everyone has one.

Healing Broken Hearts
When I first began to find heart rocks, my collection resembled a mass of rejects from the Lonely (and Broken) Hearts Club. I was a magnet for attracting 'broken' hearts. Many years later I discovered the message that each broken heart (rock) contained. These symbolized the places within my own heart that needed healing and restoration.
Burdened by years of unresolved anger, failed relationships and unfulfilled dreams, I felt heart-weary and hopeless. Prayer offered me solace; I began to ask God to show His love for me. That's when I began to find heart rocks. At my darkest moments, God offered me the most beautiful heart rocks. I began to share them with friends and family. Bits of joy began to replace the heaviness that weighed on my heart. The more heart rocks I gave away, the more love filtered into my life. Today my heart is full of hope...still healing and becoming whole!
The seeds for this blog were sown by my brother, Chris. I'd begun to write a collection of stories entitled 'Writings from the Heart Rock Collective'. He encouraged me to share the stories of my 'heart rocks' on the web. From this small seed, the collective voices of heart rock lovers emerged. My vision for this blog is to create a virtual community where people can share their heart stories freely, fully and openly.
Keep the Heart Streams flowing! Give away your heart rocks to those who need some love. Help participate in the movement of 'healing hearts' through sharing one heart rock at a time.

I never realized that God had left reminders of His love for us by way of heart shaped rocks. I remember the first time that I found my first heart rock. My daughter had moved away with her family and a year later my dad died. I was so very sad. One day after a long walk with my dog I found my first heart shaped rock in the dirt by my front door. It was almost as if it had been waiting for me to notice and ever since they keep turning up. Every time I find one I'm reminded that God is so good and my life is overflowing with blessings. Thanks for adding me to your very special blog. I'll be back for more visits.......
I loved reading about your first heart rock experience. Mine, too, was when I was so in need of a touch from God...and I ASKED for one, not having a clue what I was really doing! go figure! since then, it has been heart rocks, fruit, leaves, and more... I'll be posting my "first heart rock" story on my blog in the next couple of days...
God reveals Himself to us in such intimate ways specific to our needs, yet a common thread of God's amazing love seems to binds our stories together. I'm excited to read about your special 'heart rock' experience.
My love and understanding of heart rocks came to me one day when I needed a little reminder of God's love for me. I always seem to find them when my heart is pondering something.Wether I am hurt or just torn between things,or hurt by people. They seem to find me. I do search them out but, they only find me when they want too.
I live in Oregon and have truely really found the most amazing ones on my trips to coast. My husband and I would sometimes go one walks and they would seem to find me there. It is actually when all of my collecting began. My heart has really been heavy with some recent struggles I am going thru. I was on the beach yesterday. Looking for rocks to paint onto. I thought since I took those rocks I was not meant to find any heart rocks. I said a little prayer in my head. Lord, I would like to find a heart rock but, since I found these I will accept what I have found. It was then on the walk back to the car. That I found the largest heart rock ever. It seemed as if he only showed it me when I was able to totally surrender myself to him. I have been surrending my struggles to him. Only then with my complete understanding of his acceptance. To learn that thru prayer and constant surrender he will provide for me and it will all turn out as it should. I now have a huge reminder of his love. Along with all my others. Is is said in 1 John that the Lord knows all the struggles of the heart and is always there.( For if our hearts condemn us, God is greater than our hearts and knoweth all things. 1 John 3:20) I really am grateful for all his abounding love for me.

Amri Sophia, thank you for sharing your heart rock story. What a beautiful illustration and reminder of God's love and provision for us is often tied to our ability to let go and trust him. I, too, seem to find heart rocks when I'm totally surrendered to him and in need of a little confirmation of his love.
Blessings on your journey,
Kimberly
I am not a artist or at least have never considered myself one but at this point of my life and what my experiences have been, Art is a great way to view expression, and if this is Art through Expression, then I guess I can call myself an Artist. I have been for the last three years seeing hearts♥ in everything : what I eat, what I see, in clothing, in trash, objects in the sky (clouds) just so you can get an idea and just recently I have been documenting it by taking pictures and sharing them with who ever is around. Once I shared them, other people start seeing them too, I share my hearts I also let them know that seeing hearts its how we have to live life ,not only by love but love of whats around us , "Don't Sleep" be aware, be awaken, look at your surroundings life is so beautiful even in those worst moments in your life you can see the beauty of whats just in front of you , so " Don't Sleep be awake".
