Language of the Heart...
Have you ever discovered a 'heart' rock in your travels? Does it conjure up memories of a broken heart, a heart full of love or is it simply a stone in the shape of a heart? What does it symbolize to you? Each 'heart rock' offers a special meaning to the one who discovers or receives it. What's your story? Everyone has one.

I will give you a new heart...
A gift from the sea...
Tossed upon the rocky shores of Rye, NH, tumbled by the tumultuous waves, a heart, once lost... is found again. Love prevails. God’s unfailing love sent special delivery…through this gift from the sea.
Ezekiel 36:26
And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

I love the stripes running through the heart. Reminds me of how we are all stamped with unique qualities that God sees best for us to have . . . which makes for an interesting world!

Absolutely pretty is the new layout! =)
Jenna, I appreciate your thoughtful reflection. It puts things in perspective when I can remember that God created me...just as I am...with His perfect plan in mind.
Stardust...glad you like the new look for the HRC!
this is a fun blog. btw, paul uses the ideas and language of this verse in 2 corinthians chapter 3, one of my favorite books.
Mike...thanks for stopping by. I'm more familiar with the verse 5:17 about being a new creation...I'll definitely check out 2COR 3!
